Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to prepare future Store Managers in Boise, Idaho. Participants will gain hands-on experience across front-end and pharmacy operations, under guidance from the Store Manager and District leadership.

The program includes classroom, online and on-the-job training, rotations in other area stores, and performance coaching to ensure readiness for a Store Manager role with certification and compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with a high school diploma/GED.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Interest in Store Manager role and leadership development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and pharmacy operations under Store Manager guidance.
• Participate in accelerated development track toward Store Manager role.
• Shadow Store Manager to supervise store operations and team.
• Engage customers and ensure positive service experiences.
• Monitor performance metrics and contribute to business planning.
• Develop people through training, coaching, and performance conversations.
