Job summary

Walgreens seeks candidates to participate in an accelerated Store Manager development track. You will learn store operations, including front-end and pharmacy, while shadowing the Store Manager and completing rotations to prepare for permanent assignment.

Engagement includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, with a focus on SOP compliance, performance insights, and readiness for certification and licensure in pharmacy where required by state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets in the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager to gain experience supervising store operations and team members.
• Learn front-end and pharmacy operations and SOPs across store processes.
• Support development journeys with rotations in other stores and learning plans.
• Assist in planning, executing, and following up on merchandising and store tasks.
