Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team is hiring a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership and operational expertise in a real-world store environment. You will rotate through hands-on assignments designed to prepare you for promotion into Retail Store Management, progressing within 8–12 weeks depending on performance and prior experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year or more in retail management, and strong bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year: 1–2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Fluent in English and Spanish for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Aid with staffing, mentoring, and training employees to develop a strong team.
• Lead customer service activities and ensure WOW experiences.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising and sales strategies to maximize store performance.
