Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team seeks a Manager in Training to develop into a Retail Store Manager. You will receive leadership training, hands-on assignments, and structured learning opportunities, with progression possible within 8-12 weeks based on performance and experience.

You will help deliver exceptional customer service, manage daily store operations, and develop a high-performing team through mentorship and structured training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Strong people and communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience with automotive retail or evaluating financials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations under Store Manager guidance.
• Coach and mentor team to deliver WOW customer service.
• Oversee staffing, training and development for MITs.
• Analyze monthly P&L to optimize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with policies and training processes.
• Drive inventory accuracy and sales strategies.
