Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers the Management & Sales Training Program, an accelerated, entry-level path to Store Management in 18–24 months with a promotion to Assistant Store Manager on successful completion.

The program runs 44 hours per week and develops leadership, sales, finance, and operations skills while serving painting contractors and other commercial customers, preparing you for a future within our organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to provide effective customer recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety and loss prevention.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
