Job summary

AutoZone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Vista, CA to support daily store operations and energize team performance. You will drive sales, maintain inventories, and ensure WOW! service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Lead by example with strong communication and integrity, and develop future talent while adhering to safety and company standards. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive parts knowledge required.
• Proven leadership experience with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Capable of lifting, loading, and delivering merchandise with safety and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training, and developing store personnel.
• Drive sales targets and maintain accurate inventory while optimizing cash flow.
• Ensure WOW! customer service, resolve concerns proactively, and transform complaints into positive experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment; lead operations in the manager's absence.
