Job summary

AutoZone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and energize the team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support recruiting, scheduling, training, and developing team members while driving sales and maintaining excellent customer service.

You will promote a positive work culture, manage inventory for profitability, and ensure safety standards. ASE certification is preferred and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.
• ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training, and developing store personnel.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with employees and customers, fostering a positive environment.
• Help meet sales targets and maintain inventory to drive store performance.
• Maintain efficient store operations and compliance with company standards in the absence of the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager.
• Enforce PPE use, promote workplace safety, and assist in risk management activities.
• Support budgeting efforts and analyze Profit & Loss statements to maximize profitability.
