Job summary

AutoZone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to energize store performance, lead a high‑performing team, and drive WOW! customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

You will support daily operations, recruit and train staff, and uphold company standards while optimizing inventory and profitability. The role requires strong communication, integrity, and the ability to manage daily P&L considerations, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive parts knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Proficient in managing, analyzing, and reconciling Profit & Loss statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure service excellence.
• Assist in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training, and developing team members.
• Drive sales targets through effective coaching, visual merchandising, and inventory control.
• Maintain cash handling, budgeting awareness, and adherence to safety standards.
