Job summary

Bath & Body Works in Dayton seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing top talent and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be a brand ambassador with a strong focus on sales, operations, and leadership accountability.

The role requires guiding a team, meeting payroll targets, and ensuring safe, engaging store operations while delivering consistent results across shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce performance expectations, results goals and accountability with all associates.
• Lead as Manager on Duty and address customer experience, vendor relations or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to support action plans and execute operations.
• Implement floorset direction to optimize the business and product storytelling.
• Lead opening/closing routines, bank deposits, shipping receipts, and execute company directives.
• Set daily direction and goals for the shift and provide feedback to managers.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring proper sales floor coverage and selling focus.
