Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations, recruit and develop staff, and ensure an exceptional client experience while upholding Sally Beauty brand standards.

You will support the Store Manager, drive sales and KPI targets, oversee scheduling and inventory, and champion a safe, compliant, and inclusive work environment across the store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: supervise and plan associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional client experience and maximize sales/KPIs.
• 30% People: train and develop teams, recruit candidates, coach and address performance.
• 30% Operations: ensure execution of company processes, support digital strategies and omni-channel.
• Store operations: manage inventory, payroll hours, schedules, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to directives.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: maintain safe environment, asset protection, and compliance with policies.
