Job summary

Boot Barn in Englewood, CO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our leadership team. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to cultivate an environment that upholds our mission, values, and customer-service standards, while driving sales, merchandising, and store operations.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach partners, plan events, and help hire and train staff, with emphasis on local community engagement and strong partnerships across the district and support

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence; lead on sales floor during peak hours.
• Develop and train partners to meet career goals and improve store performance across operations and merchandising areas.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs; plan schedules, hire, train staff, and communicate with District/Region/SC partners.
