O'Reilly Auto Parts in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This role will lead the store team and oversee shifts, ensuring the staff delivers outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities include hiring support, coaching, scheduling, and maintaining store standards. You'll manage up-front cashiering, returns, stock, and ensure policies are followed while providing growth

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and implement service programs.
• Ensure staffing during peak hours and maintain training for team members.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and selecting qualified staff.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Manage returns, exchanges, stock, and invoicing of merchandise.
• Communicate store policies and ensure compliance across the team.
