Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Canton, Ohio to help run daily store operations with a customer-first focus. Responsibilities include supervising staff, merchandising, scheduling, and ensuring cash handling and security procedures are followed.

The role supports the Store Manager in achieving profitability and assets protection while maintaining a clean, well-organized shopping environment for customers.

Mansioni

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, and safety meetings.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise according to planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory and control damages/markdowns.
• Assist with security and cash control procedures; deposit funds as needed.
• Provide coverage in the Store Manager’s absence.
