Job summary

Meijer Store Leadership Internship offers hands-on experience in retail leadership. You will work on challenging projects, deliver final presentations to executives, and participate in development opportunities to grow professionally.

This 11-week program is designed for bachelor's students ready to lead teams, with rotation opportunities and a potential pathway to full-time roles. Schedule may include some evenings/weekends, and interns engage with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Support department in achieving sales, managing shrink, and P&L performance.
• Promote a safe, welcoming store environment and uphold company standards.
• Spend time communicating with customers and teammates to ensure exceptional service.
