Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership candidate to supervise hourly associates, hire and train staff, and mentor teams. You will promote a belonging mindset, set clear expectations, and drive customer experience across store operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and adherence to Walmart’s service standards while overseeing P&L, budgeting, and merchandising plans to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete job trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher may be preferred for some roles per Qualifications section.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and mentor associates; assign duties and provide recognition.
• Lead and develop teams; tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
• Ensure customer service excellence and uphold Walmart's OBW service model.
• Drive store performance by managing budgets, inventory, and merchandising to meet goals.
