The role emphasizes teaching, feedback, and collaboration with associates at all levels to implement business initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure a high-quality shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams through training, coaching, and feedback while communicating with associates at all levels to align with store operations and company direction.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to ensure alignment with sales and profit goals.
• Ensure customer service excellence by modeling OBW service principles, resolving issues, and leading community outreach and customer initiatives.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory flow, and seasonal transitions to optimize sales and minimize shrink.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, set clear expectations, recognize performance, and foster a culture of belonging.
