Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise staff, enforce policy, and ensure the store runs smoothly in alignment with Lids’ brand standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and maintaining visual merchandising across the sales floor, while supporting store performance and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer disciplinary steps when the Store Manager is absent.
• Create an inclusive team environment and uphold brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including peak periods.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
• Ensure policy compliance and secure inventory and funds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the selling strategy to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Address customer feedback and escalations to resolve issues.
• Encourage participation in Lids membership programs and in-store offers.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Open and close the store per Operations procedures.
• Protect company assets and manage backroom organization.
• Execute product layout and seasonal changes.
