Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Metairie, LA is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training / Assistant Manager to drive guest service and sales. You will partner with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train, and motivate Teammates, while overseeing merchandising, operations, and leadership duties in the absence of the Store Manager.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and team leadership with a focus on achieving sales goals and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related retail experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions about store and merchandise; assist guests in locating items.
• Lead by example with showmanship and customer service; coach teammates.
• Recruiting, training, and developing new Teammates; lead in Store Manager's absence.
• Own and influence product through zone ownership; maintain visual standards on floor and backroom.
• Manage operations including schedules, POS procedures, and Loss Prevention.
