Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Plano, TX to direct store operations and drive sales with a focus on customer service and efficiency.

You will lead approximately ten team members across departments, model strong leadership behaviors, and ensure safety, sanitation, and accuracy in pricing and inventory. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent; business-related degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience with proven leadership in perishable and non-perishable departments.
• Demonstrated success in P&L, safety, staffing, training, performance appraisals, and merchandising.
• Professional communication skills and attention to detail; proficient in MS Office and HR software.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays; Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store business processes and drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Model Sprouts leadership behaviors to elevate customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, pricing accuracy, and display standards.
• Address emergencies, resolve issues with urgency, and manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Manage payroll, labor, and expenses to meet targets; drive loss prevention.
