Job summary

The Home Depot in the United States is seeking a Store Manager who will lead store profitability by coaching associates, driving sales through exceptional customer service, and managing in-stock and store appearance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Overnight travel up to 10% may be required.
3+ years leadership experience in big box retail and merchandising/operational roles.

Responsibilities

15% Communicate with District Manager and team to drive alignment and execute strategy via Playbooks and Priority Communications.
15% Analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities and guide store team improvements; review shrink and safety performance.
10% Conduct store walks with ASMs and DSs to assess sales, service and profitability and create improvement plans.
20% Lead weekly staff meetings to set goals, boost engagement, and inspire associates.
20% Train and coach store management and associates on processes, merchandising standards, and safe operations.
20% Support new store initiatives, monitor in-stock levels, and drive inventory turns through efficient processes.
