Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Antonio, Texas to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and deliver exceptional customer service. As the heart of the Lids brand, you will drive selling strategies, ensure store standards, and uphold loss-prevention practices while staffing and scheduling to meet business needs.

You’ll partner with Store Manager to execute promotions, manage cash and inventory, maintain visual merchandise, and develop teammates through training programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting with regular follow-ups.
• Recruit and train store personnel and enforce company policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote Lids membership programs.
• Manage cash handling, tills opening/closing, and POS accuracy.
• Execute merchandising, inventory counts, pricing changes, and backroom organization.
