Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise staff, implement training programs, and ensure adherence to company policies while maintaining a high standard of store appearance.

The role requires strong leadership, a focus on loss prevention, and the ability to handle scheduling and customer issues when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members to create a fun and productive environment and align with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies and safeguarding of assets.
• Lead, execute, and assist selling strategy to achieve KPIs and sales targets; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations and ensure customers are made to feel valued.
• Promote membership programs and live in-store offers; maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and prepare store for inventory audits.
• Protect assets and manage backroom organization and product presentation; oversee pricing and product counts.
