7-Eleven, Inc. is hiring a Store Leader Trainee in Laredo, TX. The role focuses on developing leadership, ensuring strong customer service, and managing merchandising and promotions. Training and internal advancement are emphasized as part of our promote-from-within culture.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent retail management experience), a valid driver's license, and the ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and keeping products in-stock.
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel or similar tools.
• HS diploma or GED preferred, but not required with retail management experience.
• Valid driver's license with automotive liability insurance during employment.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead store leadership, executing merchandising and marketing initiatives to drive profitability.
• Develop the skills of the store team and ensure customers are well served.
• Oversee cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of loyalty programs.
• Use store reports and P&L to drive changes and improvements.
