Job summary

You will help lead customer service, verify in-stock levels, and support opening/closing duties while aligning with company policies and procedures. This position can travel between stores as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Recruit, hire and train qualified applicants to fulfill a store need.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certain locations may prefer bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing according to established practices.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and store controls.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Participate in opening and closing activities and ensure cash security.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and proper paperwork.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
