Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the planning and execution of all store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support. This role drives staffing planning, evaluates performance, and ensures compliance with company policies and labor laws to maintain a safe, efficient store.

The candidate will lead a team, manage cash controls, inventory, and customer service excellence while maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One year of management experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages and basic arithmetic.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees in compliance with federal/state laws and company policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations; address gaps with counseling or termination when needed.
• Recommend pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; lead meetings and promote safety and security.
• Open/close the store regularly and ensure proper staffing and store readiness.
