Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.

• Certain store locations may give preference to bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions or counseling, up to termination.
• Open/close store as required; ensure staffing and daily operations.
• Evaluate operating statements for sales, profitability, and inventory trends; control expenses and shrink.
• Follow merchandising, stocking, pricing, and signage standards; maintain clean, safe store environment.
