Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Summerville location. You will help organize merchandise, assist customers, supervise associates, and ensure opening/closing procedures and loss prevention are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention and protect store assets.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise when needed.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and restrooms; ensure safety and organization.
