Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Savannah. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help supervise staff to ensure service standards.

Duties include organizing merchandise, opening/closing procedures, handling payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, safe store conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and clean, and ensure safety policies.
