Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead all Store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will drive sales, profitability, and a friendly, easy-to-shop experience for customers.

You will recruit, train and develop the leadership team, manage the stockroom, front end, and sales floor, and ensure timely merchandise flow and compliance with company policies. The role requires several years of retail store management, strong people skills, and the ability to schedule

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate with Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals and execute results.
• Fluency in English; able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Store operations to meet Company standards and best practices.
• Manages payroll administration and Associate scheduling compliance.
• Recruits, trains and develops Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors and Associates.
• Ensures Store expenses are controlled and operations run efficiently.
• Maintains safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
• Supervises Customer service and merchandise presentation across the store.
