Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development in Sioux City, IA. You will assist with daily tasks, organize merchandise, and help ensure a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, with some lifting and physical activity as part of routine duties. This is a full‑time, on‑site position supporting the Store Manager and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Support in ordering, rewards, records, and loss prevention.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing associates.
