Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, stockroom cleanliness, and loss prevention.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling, and deposits/receipts.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates to uphold a positive, safe environment.
