Qualifications

• Understand inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training; conduct evaluations; address gaps with counseling or termination as needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinate meetings and events.
• Open and close the store as required.
