Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Experience with retail management is advantageous.
• Ability to recruit, hire, and train staff while complying with labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance issues or termination if needed.
• Recommend pay rate adjustments and career advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; conduct meetings and safety programs.
• Open and close the store as required; manage daily opening/closing routines.
• Analyze sales, profitability, and inventory to identify trends and control costs.
• Oversee stock levels, ordering plans, and cycle counts; ensure stock targets.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, signage, and presentation of products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and strong cash controls; protect assets.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and maintain a safe environment.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and properly equipped with tools.
