Dollar General Corporation seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, customer-first store, assist with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and loss prevention. You will perform stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, opening/closing the store, training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring cash-control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven customer service and cash-handling skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for employees.
• Manage merchandising through stock, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory and control shrinkage and damages.
• Support planogram implementation and store presentation.
• Ensure cash handling integrity and deposits; sign refunds and overrides.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
