Walgreens Co. offers an accelerated Store Manager training track to develop capability across front-end and pharmacy operations. Trainees complete certifications, participate in rotations across stores, and receive classroom and on-the-job instruction to prepare for a Store Manager role.

Under Store Manager oversight, participants shadow operations, master merchandising, inventory and loss prevention, and customer service improvements while aiming for permanent assignment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager to learn front-end and pharmacy operations and lead store teams.
• Assist in daily store execution, tasks, merchandising, and shift coverage.
• Support customer experience improvements and loss prevention initiatives.
• Engage in training rotations, including classroom, online, and on-the-job learning.
