Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development program in the United States, including training in front-end and pharmacy operations. Trainees will shadow the Store Manager, complete classroom and on-the-job training, and rotate through area stores to meet learning objectives.

Participants will obtain required certifications and pharmacy technician registration where required by state law, while developing leadership skills and performance standards for the Store Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation of a Walgreens store (front-end and pharmacy) under Store Manager guidance.
• Shadows Store Manager to learn store operations and supervise the team.
• Lead store operations and ensure compliance with SOPs across front-end and pharmacy.
