Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking candidates for an accelerated Store Manager training program designed to develop leadership across front-end and pharmacy operations.

Trainees will shadow the Store Manager and complete rotations in multiple stores to gain hands-on experience in daily operations. The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, with opportunities to pursue pharmacy technician licensure as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years retail management or HS/GED with 5+ years management.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willing to transfer to other Walgreens assets within the same area.
• Pharmacy tech registration/licensure per state; pursue PTCB as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager to learn store operations.
• Assist in opening/closing shifts and delegating tasks.
• Monitor customer service and coach team members for improvements.
• Help analyze inventory and support loss prevention efforts.
• Support business planning with store initiatives and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
