Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development program in the United States. You will learn full-store operations across front-end and pharmacy, shadow the Store Manager, and complete rotations in nearby stores to build readiness for a Store Manager role.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training with required certifications for pharmacy and retail leadership, plus development plans and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Flexible schedule with evenings and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager, gain experience supervising store/front-end and pharmacy operations.
• Lead customer experience improvements and coach team members for service excellence.
• Assist in inventory, price accuracy, loss prevention, and store maintenance.
• Support compliance with policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
