Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership, adherence to policies, and the ability to drive sales while controlling costs.

You will coach associates, schedule shifts, and ensure a safe, well-organized store environment. Ideal candidates have at least one year of management experience in retail or equivalent, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity

Responsibilities

Manage all store employees and ensure proper staffing.
Train employees and conduct evaluations; address performance gaps.
Oversee opening/closing procedures and daily store operations.
Monitor inventory, ordering, replenishment and pricing; ensure shelves are stocked.
Maintain cash controls, security practices and loss prevention.
Provide excellent customer service and a safe shopping environment.
