Job summary

Kroger is seeking a results-driven leader to oversee day-to-day store operations in Princeton, KY. You will train and coach the store team to achieve sales and EBITDA targets, champion the company values, and foster an inclusive environment.

You will lead merchandising, cost management, and staff development while maintaining compliance and strong community relations. This role emphasizes accountability, performance reviews, and actionable leadership across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read and convey information clearly.
• Completion of Division Leadership Training Program or equivalent.
• 3 years of supervisory/assistant store leader experience.
• 3+ years of retail experience.
• Financial responsibility including budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Collaborate with leaders and staff to identify opportunities and create action plans.
• Aim to meet or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit targets.
• Manage labor and supply costs daily to achieve customer service and financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
• Provide feedback and develop performance reviews for direct reports.
