Job summary

Walmart in Fayetteville, AR seeks an experienced retail leader to drive store performance, manage budgets, and lead the operations and Academy training program. You will champion Open Door policy, develop talent, and ensure excellent customer service while delivering sales growth and cost control.

Responsibilities include leading a diverse team, implementing business plans, analyzing trends, and building community relationships to reinforce Walmart’s role in the local area.

Qualifications

• 4 years general management experience with financial accountability.
• 4 years’ experience supervising 50 or more exempt and non-exempt associates to include performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Complete all job-required trainings and assessments as of Jan 26, 2019.

Responsibilities

• Direct the management team in facility operations and communicate store direction to management and hourly associates.
• Drive sales through effective merchandising, pricing, signing, and inventory management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of economic trends and community needs.
• Ensure the Academy training environment and store standards are met, engaging trainees and staff.
• Uphold Open Door Policy and lead community outreach and associate engagement.
