Job summary

TitleMax is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baytown, TX to support customers with financial services and gain hands-on experience running a store. You will develop leadership skills by driving account management, customer outreach, and risk management, with a strong emphasis on performance and growth within the company.

The role requires at least 1 year in customer service or retail, 3 months of supervisory experience, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday.
• Background check required.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate and process loan/pawn applications and related transactions.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives when applicable.
