Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baytown, TX to support daily operations and lead a team of store associates. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage staffing, and oversee onboarding and development of staff.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of retail leadership, strong communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed. The role offers opportunities for growth within a values-driven retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in retail (2–4 years in a supervisor role)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage staffing, training, and coaching

Responsabilités

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service
• Assist with inventory control, shrink prevention, and stock integrity
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and procedures
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of staff
• Maintain staffing levels and support recruitment efforts
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members
• Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused store environment
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards
• Contribute to merchandising, operational, and visual standards
