Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mentor, OH. You will support store leadership, supervise day-to-day activities, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

You will help ensure inventory accuracy, product quality, and customer service, with a starting wage of $26.50 per hour and a wage increase to $27.50 in year 2. This is a full-time role with 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities and develop action plans.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to develop team performance.
• Communicate company strategy and core values to create teamwork.
• Monitor competition and adjust plans to maintain the store's position.
• Provide product feedback and participate in hiring for store personnel.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash controls are followed.
• Ensure customer concerns are resolved in the absense of direct leadership.
