Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies to ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and address performance gaps up to termination if needed.
• Advise on pay rate and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Open/close store reliably on schedule.
• Monitor sales, profitability, inventory, and shrink; identify opportunities.
• Manage stock planning, ordering, and cycle counts weekly.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and signage across fixtures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and a safe environment.
• Ensure proper equipment and facilities for tasks.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
