Ross Stores is seeking an energetic leader in Columbia to oversee store operations under the Store Manager. You will supervise, train and coach Associates, manage payroll activities and scheduling, and ensure brand standards and customer service excellence across the sales floor, fitting rooms and registers.

The role requires supervising multiple tasks, enforcing safety policies, and delivering strong financial controls while maintaining a welcoming, high-service shopping environment.

Qualifikationen

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Aufgaben

• Manage and supervise all areas assigned by the Store Manager and follow policies.
• Learn all phases of Store operations and lead in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Lead scheduling to meet business objectives and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in payroll administration and store performance analysis.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop non-exempt Associates.
• Ensure safety and loss prevention procedures are followed.
