Job summary

Old Navy in Durango seeks an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead the team, driving profitable sales through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience for shoppers.

With 1–3 years of retail management, a high school diploma, strong communication and a flexible schedule, you’ll help execute the store strategy and meet performance goals while collaborating with the GM/AGM.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to hit business goals.
• Able to coach and inspire others through mentoring.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnight and weekends.
• Able to travel as required.
• Able to maneuver the sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
