Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager/ESM to lead front-end and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will recruit, train, and mentor team members, while ensuring compliance, safety, and optimal store performance.

You will support the Store Manager with budgeting, scheduling, merchandising, and community engagement, including pharmacy operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or completed Walgreens internship program or HS diploma/GED with two years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication skills and business acumen.
• Complete Walgreens Store Manager LEAP training or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; flexible schedule incl. evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customer service associates and front-end teams; manage store operations.
• Support Store Manager to achieve company deliverables and oversee store activities in absence of Manager.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and discipline team members; build a capable, diverse staff.
• Oversee store cash handling, banking, and bookkeeping; manage inventory in front end and pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and safety; maintain store appearance and repairs.
