Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Tucson, AZ to lead customer service excellence and regulatory compliance.

You will act as a frontline brand ambassador across the Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store brands, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service. The role requires strong communication, cash handling experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio, presenting options that fit their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager or corporate office when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process general customer questions.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Explain solutions clearly and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Handle currency and cash drawer, deposits, and cash handling requirements.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct customer verifications to validate information.
• Process transactions accurately per company policy including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely I Agree.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
