Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. in Arizona seeks a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service at one or more check cashing locations.

The role oversees staff, cash handling, and adherence to company policies while delivering profitable results. You will recruit and train team members, manage schedules, resolve customer issues, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations and Corporate Office when necessary.
• Respond professionally to customer questions, applications, requests, sales, and loan-related activities in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer, deposits, and safe transfers.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings on time.
• Coordinate operations, development, and training to achieve store targets; manage staff schedules.
• Assist with recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers in the district.
